Peter Tatchell
A life-long campaigner for human rights, democracy, LGBTQ+ freedom and global justice since 1967. A leading activist in the Gay Liberation Front 1971-74 and in the queer human rights group OutRage! 1990-2011

Julie Bindel
A journalist, writer and campaigner. She has worked to end violence against women and children since 1979 and has written extensively on rape, domestic violence, prostitution and child sexual exploitation

Simon Fanshawe
A writer, comedian and broadcaster. He is a consultant and non-executive director
of several public and private organisations. Fanshawe was one of the founders of the LGBT charity Stonewall UK

Kate Harris
A life-long mfeminist and lesbian campaigner. In the 1970s, Kate worked in women’s centres and refuges. She has continued her activism ever since and worked in the early years of Stonewall UK. Kate along with Bev Jackson founded the LGB Alliance

Katy Jon Went
A diversity and inclusion facilitator and educator, working with organisations like Human Library, Pick My Brain, Fifty Shades of Gender. Katy is a well-traveled speaker trying and has appeared on several television programmes.

Stella O’Malley
An Irish psychotherapist and author. She is a regular contributor to Irish national newspapers, podcasts, and TV including a Channel 4 documentary about gender dysphoria in children.

Finn Ballard
Finn Ballard is a trans man from Ireland. He is a historian, living in Berlin who organises
historic tours of the city that include LGBTQ+ history

Bev Jackson
A founding member of the UK Gay Liberation Front and former activist in many areas including refugee rights. She, along with Kate Harris, is a co-founder of the LGB Alliance.

Debbie Hayton
Debbie Hayton is a trans woman who is a physics teacher and trade unionist. She has written
extensively about what it means to be trans, and how trans people can be accommodated in
society without compromising the rights of other groups.

Dennis Kavanagh
Dennis Kavanagh is a former criminal barrister and one of the directors of the Gay Men’s
Network. He is a social commentator and writes about law, society and LGBT politics.

Sue Evans
A psychotherapist as well as former clinical nurse at the Tavistock Clinic in north London. She was one of a small group of whistleblowers that led to the eventual closure of the Gender Identity Development Service at the clinic.

Michelle Sheppard
A highly respected presenter, advocate, and trainer in the gender equality. Michelle brings her lived experience of being a trans woman into her work diversity, equity, and inclusion training.

Angela Wild
A lesbian feminist, activist, writer and researcher. She works for lesbian visibility, fighting for women-only spaces. She is a co-founder of Get The L Out, a lesbian activist group.
